B08 DTC fault code reader is with traditional design. It is not mini type but its big size is much easier for European and American drivers to hold. And it is also convenient for some deep OBD socket on some car model. The mini type car diagnostic scanner does not able to reach the deep interface sometimes. B08 Bluetooth obd code reader is with led indicators which can show power, OBD link and PC link status when it works.
As for compatibility of this OBD diagnostic adapter, generally, our obd2 trouble code reader is universal and they support standard OBD-II protocols. But in order to make sure the diagnostic tool can be used with your car, please make sure your car is after 1996 and it is with one of the listed protocols. For example, our car diagnostic tools are compatible with ISO15765-4/SAE J2480 (CAN BUS), ISO14230-4(KWP2000), ISO9141-2, J1850 VPW, J1850 PWM and so on. Recent new vehicles are always with CAN, and J1850 VPW for GM, J1850 PWM for Ford, Mazda. And most Asian and European manufacturers apply ISO 9141.

1, The default Bluetooth pass word is 1234 or 0000 (you are allowed to appointed pair code).
2, You have to install the application software to your pc/laptop or smart phone before you use the OBD device. There are many compatible App in the market (most of them are charged), some can be downloaded for free from our website (www.fiberallobd.com).

4, Pls turn the car's ignition switch ON when you use the device but no need to start the engine.
5, Different software and apps may have different features, there is no related with the OBD-II code reader, just try to find the right selection and configuration from the real operation display.
