1, Compatible vehicle: The obdii scan tool is suitable for vehicles which is with OBD-II on board diagnostic system. The vehicle should have a OBD-II socket and it should support the listed protocols.
2, The automotive scan tool supports the following OBD-II communication protocols:

3, Workable device for the obdii scan tool should be with Windows or Android operating system. Such as Windows XP, Windows 7/8/10, Android and so on. It is not workable with iOS device.
4, It should be used with App to display information. And we hereby recommend some compatible applications for user’s choice:
For Windows OS: ScanMaster-ELM, ScanTool.net, PCMSCAN;
For Android device: Torque, OBD Car Doctor, Mini OBD, DashCommand, EOBD;
For Symbian equipment: OBDScope.
5，FA-VC004-A automotive scan tool supports Bluetooth 2.0 communication. It is traditional classic Bluetooth. So it is not able to match smart or smart ready Bluetooth. Means that it cannot work with BLE or Bluetooth 4.0 device.

1, The obd scan tool is a multifunctional device. it is able to read and clear trouble code. It is also able to display Engine RPM, real time fuel consumption, Coolant Temperature, Air Flow Rate etc. And it also can record mileage, fuel cost, average speed, average fuel consumption, time consumption, etc. Safety warning like high water temperature, fatigue driving, speed warning, etc are also available by different App.

3, It requires low energy consumption. And will not harm to the battery or other parts of the vehicle.
4, There is no worry about the safe problem. If the obdii scan tool is with pair code, other user is not able to access it. And its transmission distance is short. If you use it during driving, other user is not able to connect it. The obd2 scan tool is able read information from the vehicle. but it cannot write or revise data of the vehicle.
5, It supports hot pluggable. You can unplug it during working and there is no harm to the obdii scan tool or vehicle.
