So, how do we generally test the finished OBD-II truck cable? In general, we will inspect the dimensional accuracy, surface quality, internal structure and performance of OBD-II truck cable.
1. Dimensional accuracy: the dimensional accuracy of OBD-II truck cable include two aspects. That is, the tolerance requirements of section size and the consistency of wire along the length direction. The connector is in accordance with the requirements of the mold. And the error of the mold and the sample should be confirmed before production. So we only need to inspect the connector dimension of OBD-II truck cable according to the document requirements.
2. Surface quality: the surface quality includes three aspects. Namely, the surface condition of OBD-II truck cable, the depth of decarburization layer. And the quantity and structure shape of oxide scale. The surface of OBD-II truck cable shall be free of defects such as scar, fold, crack and scratch. The damage, deformation and fracture of insulating layer, conductor and OBD-II truck cable are also surface quality problems. Surface defects should be minimized in production. Surface defects should be prevented during heating and rolling. In addition, the appearance of the OBD-II truck cable reel must be neat and the package must be firm. Surface quality is not only related to the performance of OBD-II truck cable. It also affects the safety and convenience of users.
3. Internal structure and properties: It mainly refers to the metallographic structure, grain size and mechanical properties of OBD-II truck cable. The performance of OBD-II truck cable is usually checked by precise instruments and strict experiments.
