1, It is made by high quality material and with excellent physical performance.
2, The obd cable is for connection between OBD2 vehicle and obdii diagnostic tool.
3, It supports standard OBD-II protocols, and workable with vehicle and other devices support same protocols.
4, Shape of the auto obd cable if flat but not round.
5, The OBD connector type is right angle. And it is type A connector for 12V vehicles.
6, Flat obd cable is with better communication performance than the round one. And it is more compact and easy for storage and installation.
7, We also provide other connector type of connector shape for options.
8, If you have customized requirement for the auto obd cable, Fiberall will try our best to meet your requirement.

Note: The pin assignment above is for reference only. There is no problem for us to make customized pin definition for the auto obd cable.
Auto OBD cable is generally used for diagnosis of OBD2 vehicle. It is used to connect with external diagnostic tool or other OBD2 products. Is auto OBD cable suitable for all vehicles or devices with OBD-II interface?
First of all, it depends on the function of external equipment. For example, FA-DC-OC88 auto OBD cable is usually for connecting external diagnostic tool. In theory, computer with RS232 serial port and the obd cable with DB9 interface can work together. However, Pin2 on computer is generally for data communication. Pin2 of FA-DC-OC88 auto OBD cable is for chassis ground. Therefore, whether it is applicable depends on the pin definition.
The pin definition of auto OBD cable should be in accordance with the communication protocol it supports. Generally auto OBD cable supports the following protocols. SAE J1850 PWM and VPW,ISO 9141-2, ISO14230-4 KWP, and ISO15765-4 CAN.
Of course, it is not enough to conform compatibility of auto OBD cable by protocol. DLC of the docking device or car should supports the same protocols. So how to judge whether DLC is compatible with the same protocol? We have introduced a simple method in the related articles before. For details, please refer to this article https://www.fiberallobd.com/Wireless-OBD2-Auto-Engine-Fault-Diagnostic-Code-Reader-pd46557364.html.
In addition to protocol, we should also consider whether the connector of auto OBD cable is compatible. First, there are type A and type B J1962 OBD connector. Type A interface is generally for 12V vehicles. And 24V vehicle generally needs to use OBD cable with B type connector. Secondly, some connectors have bayonets, but some have no bayonets. Some are for internal connection, that is the female head is inside and the male head is outside. Some is to the contrary.
Therefore, the compatibility of auto OBD cable depends on its use, protocol, interface type and shape.
