Matters Needing Attention in Production of Automotive Diagnostic Cable

1. Wire cutting: check whether the specifications of the cable meet the requirements of the order. The length tolerance of the whole automatic diagnostic cable should be within the allowable range. Do not injure the wire and the incision must be neat.

2. Peeling jacket and insolation: check whether the peeling cut is neat and whether the peeling length meets the requirements. Do not injure the shielding layer and core. If the core is injured, it will affect the conduction performance of the automotive diagnostic cable.

3. Threading shrinkable tube: check whether the model and size of the shrinkable tube are correct. Some automotive diagnostic cable do not requires shrinkable tube.

4. Prepare for soldering: check whether the temperature of the tin furnace is right; check whether there is bending, bifurcation and discount.

5. Soldering: check whether the temperature of the electric soldering iron is correct; do not scald the jacket and insolation. The tin spot should be smooth and without Tin tip. False soldering is not allowed. If the welding is not in place, the automotive diagnostic cable is prone to short circuit and open circuit.

6. Crimping and punching terminal: check whether there is offset, notch, deformation, injury and missing with the terminal.

7. Internal injection molding: Ensure that all metal parts are in correct position and no distortion.

8. External injection molding: check whether there are scratches, cracks, stripes, bubbles, uneven, deformation, etc. Pay attention to burr on connector, otherwise it may cause harm to the user of automotive diagnostic cable.

9. Assembling housing: check whether there is scratch or burr with the housing. whether there are missing parts, and whether there is problem with the screws. Some automotive diagnostic cables do not require a housing assembly.
