There are 5-digit letters and numbers with the OBD-II fault code read by OBDII scan tool, such as P0123. The first digit of the fault code is letter, like P, B, C and U. P is the powertrain, B is the body electrical. C stands for chassis system. U means undefined or network fault of vehicle. The second digit indicates who defined the code.
