Most of our obd2 products are with J1962 connector. Including obd code reader, obd-ii diagnostic tool, obd2 cable and obd adapter. J1962 is developed by Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). It was originally developed to meet US OBD requirements for 1996 or later vehicles. And J1962 became standard of the OBD-II connector. J1962 defined the OBD-II connector should be in trapeziform. And it is with 16 pins (2x8). And it also provide definition for each pin. OBD-II compliant vehicle should be with a sticker or nameplate with “OBD-II compliant” under the hood.
